1. Provider
DogGPT is provided by Neo Schulz, sole proprietor, Schleusenstraße 4, 16225 Eberswalde, Germany. Contact: Neo.schulz@icloud.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live requires parental or guardian permission, you may use DogGPT only with that permission. DogGPT is not directed to children.
3. The service
DogGPT may provide AI chat, photo analysis, food analysis, stool analysis, speech-to-text input, dog profile storage, analysis history, medication reminders, appointment reminders, push notifications, and invite codes. Features may change, be limited, or be removed.
4. No veterinary relationship
Use of DogGPT does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your dog. You remain responsible for decisions concerning your dog’s health, nutrition, medication, and safety.
Contact a licensed veterinarian immediately for emergencies, poisoning, breathing difficulty, collapse, seizures, severe pain, major bleeding, inability to urinate, repeated vomiting, suspected obstruction, sudden paralysis, or any serious or worsening symptom.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use DogGPT as the sole basis for urgent or high-risk medical decisions;
- upload content you do not have the right to use;
- attempt to bypass subscriptions, invite limits, security, or technical restrictions;
- reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service;
- use the app for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful purposes;
- misrepresent AI output as a professional veterinary diagnosis.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us and our service providers a limited permission to process that content only as needed to operate the requested feature, provide support, secure the service, and comply with law.
7. AI output
AI output is generated probabilistically. Similar inputs may produce different answers. You must independently verify important information. Do not administer, stop, or change medication based solely on DogGPT output.
8. Subscriptions
Paid access is offered through an auto-renewable weekly App Store subscription. Current pricing, taxes, currency, billing period, and any promotional terms are shown in the purchase screen and control over any conflicting website description. Additional terms appear in our Subscription Terms.
9. Invite codes
Eligible users may receive or share invite codes. A valid redemption may grant one week of promotional access to the invited user. Codes may be limited to one redemption per eligible user, device, Apple account, household, or other anti-abuse criterion. Codes have no cash value, may not be sold, and may be disabled for fraud, automation, self-referral, or misuse.
10. Availability and changes
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may depend on internet access, device permissions, Apple services, OpenAI, Cloudflare, or other third parties. We may modify the service to improve safety, comply with law, or address technical limitations.
11. Intellectual property
DogGPT’s name, branding, software, interface, graphics, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the app under these terms.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DogGPT is provided “as is” and “as available.” Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or mandatory product liability. Otherwise, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract where legally permitted. You are responsible for obtaining professional veterinary care.
14. Termination
You may stop using DogGPT at any time. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or a material breach of these terms.
15. Apple terms
Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms and, unless a custom EULA is displayed in the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
16. Governing law
German law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rules in your country of residence remain unaffected.
